Middle East Engineering Consultants (MEC) participated in the implementation of the Quality Education Support Programme (QESP), one of the largest educational infrastructure development programs in Upper Egypt, funded by KfW German Development Bank in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education. The project included the engineering design, tender management, construction supervision, and quality assurance for a number of modern educational facilities across several governorates. The schools were designed to provide safe, sustainable, and modern learning environments that comply with national educational standards while supporting increased student capacity. The programme comprised the construction of new school buildings, classrooms, laboratories, administrative facilities, playgrounds, and supporting infrastructure with a strong focus on construction quality, functionality, and long-term sustainability.
